Adobe’s decision to create a DPS solution for the “little guy” is, well, HUGE! The “Single Edition” allows the small publishing boutique or single creative to build out amazing tablet applications (publications). While some knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Java are useful, they are not necessary. Using InDesign CS5.5 (or CS5) and the DPS suite of tools will allow you to build out highly engaging publications without a lick of programming knowledge. Include interactions, video, and web content to create an enduser experience that ROCKS.

Yeah, I love the heck out of my two kids, however, there are moments when I want to send them on a one-way trip to somewhere far, far, away (and then I get over it). I thought I would post this pic when I need to remind myself that they both do, indeed, love their father.

Road trips are the ultimate vacation freedom. See something interesting – simply pull over and check it out. We spotted an older man feeding donkeys somewhere outside of Houston, I screeched the car to a stop, jumped out and proceeded to converse with the fella. My kids thought I was nuts, but it didn’t take long before they jumped out of the car and joined me.

River Walk, San Antonio

I travel a lot! One of my favorite destinations is the San Antonio, River Walk. I love to people-watch, and the River Walk is a great place to kickback, enjoy a glass of vino, and watch the tourist interact with the “gem” of SA.

Bastrop Tree House

I caught my oldest daughter in a moment of peace. I love when I catch my kids lost in a book. This photo was taken outside of Austin, Texas just south of Bastrop State Park. We rented a place called the “Bastrop Tree House”. I’m not sure if the house still stands as the fires of 2011 torched the area.
